I loved the first film but the second just seemed to be an excuse to have more exciting action scenes. (though they where amazing 
)
I'll just say, stand alone the matrix is a classic film but the trilogy as a whole... though i like it, (and i did understand it, i hate when people try and tell me that the only reason to not like it is lack of understanding) there comes a point where a movie trying to be so deep but entertaining at the same time it tends to contradict itself like crazy and for that i don't consider the trilogy something that i'd like to own.
Anyways, enough babbling. Any of the Matrix movies kicks the hell outta plenty of other Sci-fi movies out there so i still do highly recomend all of them to atleast give a chance.
