Slang thread

Hehe yeah it is fun to use, a lot of it has found its way into my vocabulary but thankfully most friends use it too so they know wtf I'm on about

Main ones I use are:

adam and eve
battle cruiser (I'm always there! ;D)
jack jones
dog n bone

Plus a few others. I also realised that me and one of my friends have a massive vocabulary of slang terms that got derived from football, but you'd need to have watched a lot of English Premier League games to know wtf we mean:

"That was a bit JESPER!" - if something is shit, we say it is "Jesper"... derived from the player Jesper Gronkjaer who is famed for his erratic crossing of the ball

"Fucking hell that was a bit Wiltord!" - Bad shots on goal are "Wiltord's"... in honour of Sylvain Wiltord the Arsenal/France player

"FLETCH!!!" - Another one for wayward passing/shooting of the ball... named after Darren Fletcher who plays for Man Utd. We made that one up since we once saw him take a shot from inside the box that went closer to the corner flag than the goal

There's more but they would be far too hard too explain to anyone else
