Slang thread

Ok, use a piece of slang in a sentence and then explain it. Since many of us live all around the world should be sorta interesting {-looks at supremelord)



American English:

"That was the bomb."
bomb = totally excellent

"Yo dog."
dog = man <--

"wassup" = "wazzup" = "Whats up" = "how are you"

"Yo, let me dog your hat."
In this case, dog is a verb used as "to borrow" so its equivelant to...
"Hey, Let me borrow your hat."



German:

Das war der Hammer!
"That was the hammer"
hammer = totally excellent

Das Auto ist echt Geil!
"That car is really horny"
this sentence meaning "That is a sweet car"




Thats all I can think of for now, slang also varies by region so maybe we'll surprise our fellow countrymen.
