Habbo Hotel is a 'chatroom' but with people in it. You can make your own 2D pixelized character that looks like you or something and then you just, chat. You can also drink something and sit down on a chair ETC ETC. A lot of possibilities, for chat whores who'd like to "chat with you in person" on the PC. The best thing about Habbo Hotel must be the buy furniture thing. Seriously, you REALLY got to buy furniture (like, with REAL money!)
