I had decided to cancel my DSL and resignup as a new user so I could get it for $29.00 a month for the next year instead of the $49.00 it has been for the last several years. So of course SBC screwed that all up ,they never even placed my new order even though it was in their computers and I had verified it with 2 reps.
Of course there is a mandatory 10 day down time for line tests and some other BS wether you had DSL or not. It ended up taking a total of about 20 days or so I think ? So thats basically where Ive been .
Since I have 3 PC's networked into this machine { my primary PC } XP Pro got severly confused and wouldnt properly open the port for a standard 56K modem and I didnt feel like hosing my network just to crawl on the net
That about sums it up I think
