Ah, shirasayas
I have one myself. (Why do we all have weapons?

Its the long one on the bottom, its got a full tang.
The downside to shirasayas is the wooden handle snaps/cracks/breaks fairly easily. Hasn't happened to me, but it happened to my friend.
Oh yeah, nunchaku and ninja stars are illegal in my state, but that didn't stop my friend from making some in his metalsmith class. "My project? Oh... its a chinese symbol that means peace and happiness." <--- how he was able to fool idiot teacher.
