lol I saw that interview on the dutch news. (TV)
He said that the Japanese thought Kill Bill was a funny movie, but bad presentation, compared to real samurai movies.
I thought Kill Bill was enjoyable enough, it's just that Japan has enough killer samurai movies and they were like "WHAT?! A SWORD FIGHT MOVIE FROM THE US?!"
So it isn't really Takeshi saying it's a bad movie. He just said the Japanese crowd thought it was funny and it sucked compared to samurai movies.
