For the DVD's, you need a couple of programs. First off, to make the actual dvd's with menus and stuff, there are a few programs you can use, but I am currently using tmpeg dvd creator because it is nice and simple. That allows you to make your own menu using a simple interface where you just drag and drop your video files into it, choose your background pic, then write in whatever text you want on there and where you want the various track selections etc to be put on screen. You can even do chapter selections and stuff too... with these I just put a chapter selection in on each episode so that you can skip past the opening credits on each episode if you want.

Before you can start making your dvd though, you need to make sure that your video files are the correct format... they'll need to be mpeg 1 or mpeg 2 and in the correct resolution and frame rate (or they won't work), so if you have divx files like these naruto episodes where, then you'll have to convert them. For this I used TMPEG Enc (by the same people). Once you know how it is fairly simple to use and has a nice and simple wizard to guide you through the process. It all sounds really complicated at first, but once you have a done a couple of them it's not too hard at all

Here's the other two I made... the backgrounds on all of these are just wallpapers that I found on the net, for the next ones I make I might try to do my own if I can find some good hi-res Naruto art... would be easier to fit the menus in if I setup the background pics myself:









If any of you have a dvd burner and wanna try this, let me know and I can try and help ya with it. If you don't have a dvd burner, it is actually possible to make vcd's with simple menus that will play in most dvd players... Nero has an option for it
