I impressed my friend by grinding a handrail today on a dare. (on an aluminum scooter...) Seems like I still have the magic* I got a question for any skateboarders... I have never seen anyone who can do a blunt grind except for when I was in Germany, and all the German skateboarders could do them. Any of you know anyone who can do a blunt grind? (perhaps yourself?) I used to skateboard regular. I could ride goofy, but I couldn't do an ollie for my life with the left foot around the tailend. A lot of people around here in Leicester probably can, there are a few really talented skaters that I've seen... along with an even greater number of kiddies that only walk around with a skateboard as a fashion accessory and *never* skate on it (funnily enough they all seem to wear Slipknot hoodies too, it's a major stereotype). As for me I suck pretty bad I must be honest. Sometimes I ollie really high, other times I barely get anywhere, and although I've pulled out shove-its and stuff occasionally I still struggle with them. Would be better if I was skating constantly, but just lately the weather has been terrible (rain etc) and no-one can be bothered to go to the indoor skateparks (I prefer street skating anyway). Injuries have counted against us too... just ask Crag about his knee, and don't believe his lies and propaganda about me being the one who hurt it when we went to the CKY gig in December... he tripped Kaz
