Sorry to disappoint, but this isn't going to happen after all. I was planning to make this conversion this past weekend, but after shopping around at every store i went to, I came to this conclusion. An Xbox pad of any sort, new or used was going to cost me. All the USB cables that I could find were expensive as hell, starting at $20. And finally, seeing as how the creation probably wouldn't be plug and play, and drivers can vary beyond what the site has. It could likely be a waste. Rather than risking the waste of money, I broke down and purchased a thoroughly bad ass Saitek gamepad.
