Might be a fun project to fool with , how well it actually works is probably debateable and unless you have an extra pad laying around I dont see where its very viable price wise since I would be willing to bet Logitech makes a superior PC pad espicially wireless for about 40 bucks and whats an S pad cost about $29.00 or so ?
Bye the way any $15.00 PC pad wont ever be worth using since they are generally junk.
Sadly I have to say that I think the PS2 pads are superrior to just about any other analog combo pad Ive used ,but straight digital the Saturn is probably the best one I have used ...yes I miss my Saturn now and then ;D
Regardless of my thoughts ..... let us know how this turns out and the resulting functionallity should you take this on
