I had no idea, but I googled it and found this forum thread from gameplanet.
I don't know for sure from personal experience but according to that guy it does. As for progressive scan, I didn't think the NTSC version had that anyway... but I don't own a TV capable of progressive scan anyway so I never really paid any attention to it

I don't like the PAL release though. Yes it has a 50/60hz option, but there's no Pro-Scan option. Another reason why I'm starting to hate PAL releases (not like I like PAL to begin with anyway).
