A band called fischerspooner (think that is the correct spelling) is believed to be the band that did it. I looked them up with a bit of googling, and to be honest NONE of their other stuff is anything like their Devil May Cry tracks... it's more electronic/dance type stuff from what I have heard. Also, I found that they did a remix of Smells Like Teen Spirit (Nirvana) and as soon as I heard that I stopped looking 
Regardless of that, their stuff in DMC3 seems awesome
