At first I must admit that I found MGS3 very hard, not just because of the lack of radar, but also because some of the camera angles are a bit poor at times, even though you can adjust the overhead view a little with the right stick. Sometimes it can be very hard to see enemies until it is too late, especially if their uniform is fairly well camoflauged into their surroundings. After playing it for a while though and being much more slow and deliberate about my movements (and making sure to crawl around not run too much), I'm doing fine now. Forcing info out of the guards using the CQC stuff is fun... I got the radio frequency for some easy listening radio station last time I tried it ;D
I haven't had enough time to play it this past week, but so far I am at the boss called "The End" and it's a bit of a bitch (without spoling it for anyone who hasn't played it yet).
