I thought the stage fatalaties that can happen anytime were a bit dumb, but I actually think it's one of those fun things that you should leave turned on in vs mode against friends... nothing better than crazy stuff like that to liven things up after a few beers ;D
I haven't watched those vids yet, but will do. I tell you one thing though - MK Chess and Puzzle Kombat are fun as hell... that's the sort of extras that I always cry out for in games
. I really think that CVS/SVC should have had stuff like that, kinda like the mini games in the NGPC version of SVC.
