The MD was released around 1988 in Japan, I think, and at the end of 1990 in the UK. Dunno about the rest of the world ...
I got the rom for the Jap version of Decap Attack the other day, Magical Flying Turbohat Adventure (I think?), and it's an almost unrecognisable game! Worse still, it's far harder than the western release, so I've got no chance of finishing this game!
