though CvS2's tunes are not in accord to my liking, i did find CvS1's music to be really nice, especially the last round music and the boss themes. the last round music kinda sounds similar to the rockin' soundtrack of Tekken 3 and the boss themes really fit their respective bg and bosses' style 
that's why i still play the old (but surprisingly in a very good condition) CvS1 in a distant mall
