Cool, good luck with it - and as a tip, it's a good idea to stop by the sites that are linked in the affiliates at the bottom of each forum page (in particulat SSD) as you'll find a lot of stuff that you can add to your forum there. Just be careful about what codes you put in (if any) as some might not work in all browsers etc, and a few can conflist with each other a little. It's worth experimenting though 
One thing I do like is that you haven't fallen into the trap of having too many different forum section at the start... that can get really confusing - most people seem to do this and I have no idea why. Keeping a minimum amount of sections and adding more only when you need them and when you start to get more members is the best way imho...
