EA are the richest software company in the world and they sell the most games... however they are the purveyors of more mainstream shite than I care to remember... they churn out mediocre game after mediocre game, with only the odd title that actually plays well (SSX, Need For Speed etc) Going back to the PAL thing, both NTSC and PAL have their pros and cons, but basically: PAL = A little bit better picture quality as the screen is made up of more lines, but when it comes to games many run about 17.5% slower and have huge borders unless they are optimized for PAL or have PAL 60hz options. See PAL Tekken Tag for a REALLY bad example of this. Thankfully Tekken 4 has 60hz options. NTSC = Slightly worse picture quality but you don't get the problems that PAL users get with speed issues. Although most PS2 games don't have problems anymore and they thend to have 60hz, Xbox is actually better in this respect as it doesn't really have these problems... been a while since I used my Xbox, but if iirc you can switch the actual console to 60hz in the menu right? (damn my feeble memory ) Gamecube also does this. Kaz
