Must be fanboy talk then because I sure didn't notice any slowdown in my copy, even when the screen is full with objects and projectiles (which is most of the time). Silky smooth, but I wasn't able to compare it with the Dreamcast version. And eh... I didn't reach the end yet... so far a lovely conversion though
