There's already a Metal Slug-like game on Atomis Wave called Dolphin Blue which isn't that bad. That made me dream about a MS game on this hardware. Even if DB is a mixing of 2D sprites and 3D backgrounds I'd rather prefer to see a true 2D "next level type" Metal Slug game.
I usually hate 3D games or designs, but if it's well done, 3D could help creating new slugs and that would add something great to the hi-tech/futuristic feel of bosses or tanks that already exist in the MS games we all love.
