Metal slug on atomis wave.....*DROOL!!!!!* 
But yeah, i also wondered about that slug in mission 2....i shot it and walked on and also didn´t shoot the guys and walked on.
Both didn´t have anything added or changed because of it.
But yeah, things like that and especially the end boss turtle sprites and stuff....give the feeling they forgot to finish making the game.
