Really? Last I heard the DS was outselling PSP 2 to 1 in Japan. Nintendogs has become very popular over there.
Possibly in Japan, especially due to stuff like Nintendogs selling like crazy over there

I can only go off what UK suppliers have said really, and we sold import PSP's & DS's since day one and almost no-one asks about DS here (not even when the imports first came in), it's all PSP requests. I think it's partially cos so many people are stupid and brainwashed by PSP/Sony, but either way if it isn't selling, it isn't selling. Would like to see some actual UK sales figures though Still, although I'm more of a PSP guy than a DS guy, I will get a DS, but like Klarkus said about the PSP, I need a killer app that will make me want one. Castlevania will probably be that - the series made me buy a GBA, it will probably make me buy a DS
edit: my boss also reckoned that some retailers he spoke to wanted to drop the DS due to not selling many... I dunno if that's true though.
