I translated that article and from what I can gather it says the typical helmet soldiers are gone and are replaced with guys that have caps and bandanas covering their faces, mudmen are present, and characters can now slide to get through certain obstacles. The first stage was two parts: the canoe ride and then an aztec temple in which you had to avoid fire traps, thorns and poisonous plants. The difficulty did not seem very high in fact a novice could probably beat the first level without losing any lives.
