I find that without scanlines enabled the sprites tend to look sort of cartoony or really blocky and generally distorted , so I usually use them when I run emus.
Lately I have been playing around with ePSXe since my actual PS has been freezing up on me. I guess its time to start looking into an older replacment for my PS cab since the PS1 has really horrible output signal strength and generally doesnt work with an arcade monitor
Damn Sony and their make shit cheaper and mark it way up to make more money from the sheep attitude !
In the end we get hosed into buying a crappy product .......
