I don't know if I conveyed the feeling I wanted to convey about this game in my last post. So I feel compelled to post again.
Ok, so by now you may be thinking to yourself: Ok, I now its low quality, its MUGEN, I wanna try it anyway.
Allow me to spoil the boss for you, in an effort to save you from the shoddiness of this game.

You may think this is an interesting boss. Perhaps a little familiar, hmm, almost a bit like Mukai. Will, it is Orochi's torso planted on Zero's legs. With devil wings for good measure.
You may think: Hey, this looks like it has possibilities. I thought this too, even after looking at its sprites, seeing that it had 600 (a respectable number) I thought, this must be a decent character.
Oh how wrong I was.
Introducing the STRIKERS

It turns out, that only about 100 or so sprites are actually of the orochizero boss. When factoring in sprites like falling/getting injured, etc, that doesn't leave much in the way of animation or diversity of attacks. How to give a character more attacks without spending time tediously editing some sprites?
Give a character strikers! The first mark of stupidity, is the bar that appears sometimes when you call on strikers. It doesn't appear to stand for anything, as I can continuously call out strikers regardless. It only serves to junk up the screen.
The first striker I will attack is the wierd puma thing. Not only does it only have 5 sprites for everything, but it looks completely like crud. Its attack can only be described as absurdly cheap, as it hits almost the entire screen while its sprite does not appear to.
Next up is the black devil, to further emphasise the characters name (which is EvilSoul BTW) there are plenty of hell/satan references in the character, this is one of them.
Below the black devil, we see a scyth, I will let you draw your own conclusions as to the quality of that striker.
Since women are always nice, there are two scantily clad strikers of Athena. Wearing black of course.
I don't know what the red haired girl really does as a striker, but she appears and grows devil wings too.
So then we've got the spirits. There is the odd lion fire spirit, and the other -thing-. Both are not up to any standard of quality you may like.
There is another striker, the green one, which the readme file calls 'medusa'. Yet another reason to avoid this character at all costs.
Oh yeah, and then there is Geese.
EDIT: Whoops, forgot about whip/leona. I think I remember her reaching into the character and pulling out their soul.
This is the perfect example of what I mean by a character that both looks like crud, and plays like crud. And even is no fun to play against.
If you were expecting something resembling an SNK game, at least it does better than some other MUGEN games I've seen (IE: it has no Capcom Street Fighter characters in it) If you wan't to try a MUGEN game anyway, there is one called KOF2002.zip on filemirrors last time I checked (the 120MB one) its not as bad as far as the ratio of crud/decent is concerned, though if you want to play some good KOF mugen, I can give you tips on what/who'se chars. = roxor good quality
