I'm sorry for this stupid rhetoricol question. Your right. It saves when you die. Sorry for wasting 1min of your time. You could of done lots of things in that 1 min. lols. 
Now I can finally finish those long, tedious battles b/c I could always come back to finish off where I died, slammed the control, and scream like a madman in frustration.
