How do you use Neo GEO memory card?

I never really used one (neither of my MVS's had the memory card slot), but as far as I know, when you have got it inserted, if you die and get to the continue screen, it asks if you want to save then... I *think* it happens if you don't continue. Give it a try, I'm pretty sure that's how it works anyway...
