It's confirmed for a PS2 release apparently... see the news page on the site 
Looking forward to this... I know it's not supposed to be great, but at least it's a new KOF to play as a stop gap until the port of NGBC and the next KOF game. I wish SNKP would be a bit quicker about porting AW games though.
