It's very easy really. You don't even need to void the warranty. Simply pull out the pstwo's old lid (yank it to your right and up, the spring will probably come loose but you simply set it back where it was). Then replace it with the fliptop lid. The only problem I had was mine was a little warped in the back so it wasn't hitting the back sensor. I then just took a tiny piece of straw and jammed it in the crevice so it would hit the sensor when the lid was closed. You shouldn't have that problem though. I have never used the fliptops for the old models though.
