i was playing it recently, and it is very good. the only thing i can't get round is, just why are the sprites so small?

but then again, i think 1995-99 was pretty much snk's 'golden age' inasmuch that it seemed as though they were belting out one amazing game after another: the kofs, metal slugs, last blades, samurai shodown 4, blazing star, garou, ninja masters, the realbouts...

in fact when you look at it like that, its really hard to imagine just why they went bust soon after.
