I happen to really like the 2001 techno music theme.
The music in 2002 is so agitating I wish I could turn it off and just have sound effects. I felt it was a very innovative sound design and modern for once instead of the usual video game jamouts. Then again I listen to techno personally.
I've owned 95,96,98,99,2000,2001,2002
I like 2002 and 98 the best to play.
My non-neo geo obsessed friends that come over to play on my mvs like 2002 and 2000.
Backgrounds in 2000 were my favorite, 2002 backgrounds are pretty poor in general.
