after playing extensivley, both in the arcades and in emulators 
..
my rankings(not in order):
my best chars are:
1. Shiki ~ weak, yet very much quick
2. Earthquake ~ stong and cool imho, very powerful if used wisely
3. Choi ~ i never thought he could be so... FUN to use ;D well, he seems to play better in SVC (as if there's diff in kof :
and his Exeed move is teh shit! 
4. Red Armerrer ~ truly, a worthy boss, he aint cheap, but he's good
5. Sagat ~ really quicker than his CVS incarnaton, suits his style
my worst are:
1. Shin Akuma ~ he suddenly became gay and gained a "teleport frenzy"
2. Athena ~ err... practice dummy?
3. Tabasa ~ she's just too much... blech, no appeal at all
4. Geese ~ no change what-so-ever, at least his DM looks better
5. Goenitz ~ cheap as usual, he likes teh wind!
