It's just an arcade hardware, same as the Neo Geo MVS was, and you can slam it into a cabinet and it has interchangeable carts. It is basically very similar to Sega's Naomi hardware wise. As for playing the games at home, you would probably be best on not buying an AW itself, and just wait for the ports to the PS2 or Xbox. At the moment I don't think it is worth buying the Atomiswave itself as it is probably too expensive and there aren't enugh good games right now. Kaz Fools quote nonsense and people engage in humble banter. Poor conversions are inevitable look at snk vs capcom chaos PS2. Rumble Fish is excellant example how this system runs, kof neowave is alright but kof 2003 already induced the lump that is tradition in my veins!
